Financial Recovery
We has been assisting people and businesses with their financial recovery needs for many years.
This is usually achieved under the Voluntary Administration and Deed of Company Arrangement appointments, in the case of companies, and through Part X and Part IX appointments for personal insolvency appointments. But we also take informal appointments and provide consultancy services to financially distressed businesses without being formally appointed.
All staff gain experience in financial recovery appointments, covering all of the possibilities set out above, so that we can provide assistance to business owners before their financial situation becomes too stricken to recover.
The use of consultancy and informal appointments makes this process quicker and easier, without having to rely on formal appointments under the Corporations Act or the Bankruptcy Act. But we realize that the formal protection provided under the relevant Acts is sometimes necessary for a recovery process to be successful.
This assistance is usually provided in conjunction with the debtor's own accountant or solicitor. The typical appointments will be to businesses that are suffering financial difficulties and wish to either restructure their operations or obtain professional advice on their position. That assistance is generally best given through both an experienced insolvency practitioner and the businesses accountant.
